Shakti, a software engineer in America by accident, lives the dreams of many young Indians but not his own. He is not sure what he hates more in his life, his boss adding stress to his monotonous life or being single and lonely?
His sister and two childhood best friends help realise his dream and potential to become a leading pop singer in Bollywood. They convince him to take leave from work and return to India for the auditions of the country’s biggest talent show. He decides to go forward with ‘the plan’ at a time when it is impossible to find flight tickets, while having a maximum likelihood of losing the ‘Dream American Job.’ as a consequence if he took that flight to India.
They say, sometimes, the journey is what makes the destination special. This is the story of Shakti. His journey towards his dreams and finding the strength to open new doors and close a few, perhaps forever, by taking the leap over all odds to catch that dream before it is lost forever.
His journey is nothing less than a rollercoaster ride—without a seat belt. Written as the first part of the now grown-old lead character's autobiography. It is the story of his joyride from Clark Kent to Superman and how a Beta turned into an Alpha.
