Dr. Kansagra is an associate professor of child neurology and sleep medicine at Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina. His research interests include insomnia, narcolepsy, and rare neurologic disorders.

About the Author
Dr. Kansagra is the Director of Duke's Pediatric Neurology Sleep Medicine Program and an Assistant Professor in Duke's School of Medicine. He is board certified in both Pediatric Neurology and Sleep Medicine. He is a graduate of Duke Medical School and did a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He treats children with a wide range of sleep disorders, including insomnia, sleep apnea, narcolepsy and parasomnias. He and his wife have a 7-month-old son who sleeps 11 hours each night (but only after using the techniques described in his book).
