My name is Yan Alcindor and this is the story of my life. I’m not going to start with when I was born and all that shit but that was drama. I was a month premature and my Moms always said it was touch and go for me until life took hold and I got stronger and then they finally took me out of the incubator.
I’m not going to start with talking about my looser Daddy either. He left us when I was three. My eldest half-brother Dwayne, aka Dre, was ten and my other half-brother Elton, aka, LT, was eight. They remember him. I don’t. Moms hooked up with him after her first husband, Dre and LT’s father, Samuel Hodge, dropped dead three blocks from where they lived from a sudden massive heart attack.
